Amidst oodles of glitz, glamour and bling, the 60th Cannes Film Festival kick-started on the banks of the French Riviera on Wednesday evening.
The grand dame of international film festivals began with an array of stars walking the red carpet including, filmmaker Wong Kar Wai, actors Norah Jones and Jude Law – both stars and director of the opening film My Blueberry Nights.
