After having played numerous characters in his illustrious career, actor Govinda is all set to play a Bengali baabu in Aditya Datt’s romantic comedy Chai Garam.
Bollywood Hungama spoke to the young director to get some more dope on the film, “Chai Garam is a romantic comedy starring Govinda, Esha Deol, Celina Jaitley, Sunil Shetty, Raima Sen, Javed Jaffrey, Rajpal Yadav, Ravi Kissen and Anupam Kher. The film is not about tea (chai) per se. The basic thought of the film started from the theory of Seven degrees of separation. It’s about how we are all connected by knowing someone who in turn knows someone and all that jazz. But what is common to each of the characters is tea (chai),” says Aditya. (more…)
