Bollywood’s diva and now Padma Shri winner Madhuri Dixit Nene says that receiving the honour was a pleasant surprise gift a few days before her birthday. She turns 41 on Thursday (May 15).
“I had never expected that this honour would be bestowed upon me. Honestly, it was a surprise when I came to know that I have been selected. But I am delighted that the work which I have done has been recognized and I am very lucky that I was felicitated by the first woman President of India,” says an elated Madhuri who adds, “After receiving the award, me and Ram went to Siddhivinayak temple to seek God’s blessings.” (more…)
