Australia: Academic wants more research on climate change preparation

Australian Broadcasting Corporation: A Northern Territory academic is calling for more research into how central Australia can prepare for the adverse effects of climate change. Charles Darwin University Professor Rolf Gerritsen says hotter, wetter conditions will lead to greater use of airconditioning. He says this and higher capital costs will make life more expensive.
