GE Lands Another $1 Billion Wind Contract

Reuters: General Electric Co said Thursday that it had obtained a $1 billion contract to supply electricity-generating wind turbines to Invenergy Wind LLC, its second billion-dollar contract with that company this year. GE, the second-largest US company by market capitalization, said it would supply Chicago-based Invenergy with 750 megawatts of wind turbines for North American projects to be built in 2010.
