The victims were on their way to the Shiva temple at Tarakeswar in Hooghly District from Deoghar in Jharkhand.
They were standing near the stranded bus after it broke down near Kapapharia. The mishap occurred when the truck mowed them down and hit the bus.
The injured were sent to Srirampur Walsh, Uttarpara State General and Calcutta Medical College hospitals. (ANI) Read »
