`Budget is aam aadmi, farmer friendly`!

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday praised the Union Budget 2008-09 presented by Finance Minister P Chidambaram as an aam aadmi, middle class and farmer friendly budget. The PM said that the measures announced would address the problems of the critical farm sector and would positively affect the common man`s pocket leading to overall development of the economy.
