PM calls for a meeting to monitor tiger conservation !

Concerned over the declining tiger population in the country, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has called for a conference of the Chief Ministers with Tiger Reserves on Saturday to put in place a coordinated response to the conservation challenge. Reiterating the government`s commitment to tiger conservation, he said the Centre would further raise financial and organisational support for such efforts. Read »
